KY Hopeful Paws Rescue is thrilled to announce our 2nd Annual Barks and Recreation Bash, taking place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10 AM to 4 PM at Red Orchard Park in Shelbyville, KY, and we’d love for you to be a part of it!

When you adopt, you’re not just giving a deserving pet a home. You’re also reducing the demand for puppy mills and other industrial-scale breeding operations that put profit before animal welfare. KY Hopeful Paws provides rescue and adoptions for dogs and cats across Kentucky and beyond. We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3), volunteer-based rescue.
Available Pets
All pets are fostered in private homes and are available for meeting after applications have been approved.
We are able to adopt out of state, but transportation must be provided by the adopter.
